Consultations

Consultations help you navigate the difficult decisions around caring for your pet through complicated medical conditions and/or end of life.

Virtual Consultation

  • Virtual consultations can help you determine where you are in the end of life process with your pet. We can discuss your pet's condition, current medical plan, and your concerns and expectations.

While Dr. Chandler cannot make specific medical recommendations or prescribe medications for your pet without having a hands-on exam, she can make suggestions for you to discuss with your family veterinarian. To understand your pet’s current condition, it is helpful for her to review your pet’s current medical records. If you plan to pursue a consultation appointment, please have your regular veterinarian email records to us at contact@lovealwaysvet.com.

Hospice & Pain Management Consultation

  • In home consultations are a great way for us to assess your pet, have a detailed conversation about your goals, concerns, and needs, and develop a medical plan. In home consultations typically last 2 hours and have the advantage of allowing Dr. Chandler to prescribe medication.

It’s best to have a consultation early on in the process so that we can address potential areas of concern in a proactive manner. This gives us time to have a positive impact in the life of your good friend.
